New Superannuation Contribution tracking functionality in XPLAN
IRESS have recently released a new Superannuation Contributions Summary element.
This new element can assist with recording and tracking contributions for current and past financial years. Components tracked in the new section include total super balance, concessional and non-concessional contributions, and refunded excess concessional and non-concessional contributions.
Contributions for each year can be entered manually using the edit pencil for the particular year
There is still the option to enter the client’s superannuation contributions under the superannuation account record. This allows you to enter the details of the individual contributions and the amounts for the current financial year will roll up to the current contributions section of the plan showing all of the components.
The contribution details entered will flow through to the new superannuation tracking element
